Hometown Heroes

Operation Hometown Heroes honors Avalon veterans by posting their names, photos, and service information on banners hung in the Business center of town.

Banners remain on display from Memorial Day to Veteran’s Day each year. Space availability may require banners to be rotated. Banners display for at least two months during each season. Please note, it is possible that banners requested in late summer and fall may not be hung until the following year.

Veterans from all military services and conflicts are welcomed.
